ANZU Loafer velvet td mouse combines hand-dyed velvet in a natural brown–cream gradient with detailed artisan embroidery. The tie-dye is applied by hand, which gives every pair a slightly different shade transition.
The toe features a stylised bird motif. Its structure recalls traditional Native American symbolism, where bird figures often appear as protectors, messengers or guardians in textile craft. Here, the motif is interpreted in Meher Kakalia’s decorative language using silk thread embroidery, beadwork and small leather appliqués.
The loafer sits like a moccasin: soft around the foot, relaxed in structure and easy to wear for long hours. The EVA bloc sole keeps the shoe light, flexible and practical for daily use or travel.
